Documenting our print heritage (ISSN 0971-6610, active since 1994), transition to electronic publishing from Medina, Ohio, and application for Online ISSN (e-ISSN) with the U.S. ISSN Center at the Library of Congress.
Under international standard ISO 3297:2022 (Information and documentation — International standard serial number), continuing serial publications issued across different media formats (print, electronic/online) require distinct International Standard Serial Numbers (ISSNs) to enable unambiguous citation, automated harvesting, and library cataloging worldwide.
Since its founding in 1994 under the Somatic Inkblot Society in India, the Journal of Projective Psychology and Mental Health has maintained continuous print registration under ISSN 0971-6610 and national press registration with RNI New Delhi (Regd. No. 71632/99).
Beginning in 2026 with Volume 33, all publishing operations, editorial custody, and electronic dissemination have transitioned to our publishing headquarters in Medina, Ohio, USA. Because the United States is now the country of publication for the electronic edition, jurisdiction for registering the online serial and assigning the electronic ISSN resides with the U.S. ISSN Center at the Library of Congress.
